How does the firm investigate?

The fact that our firm has had success in unusual cases signals two things: one that we are interested in challenges, and secondly that we are willing to really dig in and investigate to identify how the underlying problem was caused. Our firm is unique in this. We do an investigation promptly, as soon as we take a case, or even before we consider taking a case. I will visit the scene, if necessary, and take a Sherlock Holmes approach to looking around and sniffing out what had occurred there. Oftentimes the culprit, so to speak, for a toxic mold or lead case is behind the wall, so I have to go there and make a determination as to where to open up. We will dig until we find out why the major injury occurred and it oftentimes is very surprising. You would think that most individuals that practice law would be willing to do that, but they are not really forward thinking. Here are the reasons: A) It is extraordinarily time consuming; B) It is very costly; and C) There are no guaranteed results, and there have been incidents in which major investigations have occurred, an official investigation prior to our getting to the scene, and yet after we investigate, the official investigation is modified to incorporate the findings that we’ve made. It is just a fascinating process.
