How many cases does the firm handle?

We typically have a dozen or less cases. Ultimately, my feeling is that a small number of cases handled by a small number of individuals all participating in the case at various degrees and levels is the most satisfying way to practice law. I wish we could bring our talents to more clients and that is why sometimes I think about expanding. But on the other hand, diluting our efforts, diluting our energies, diluting our resources, is obviously going to have a negative impact in some critical stage of mass. So at the present time what we have chosen to do is keep a small number of cases with an eye towards bringing in some groundbreaking cases that we can give our full attention to.
